Hardware die casting: a workpiece or blank made by hardware die casting. The external force is applied to plates, strips, pipes, profiles, etc. by a punch and a die, so that they are deformed or separated by die-casting, so as to obtain a workpiece with the required shape and size, and the obtained workpiece is a die-casting part. Die-casting is a kind of forming processing method which applies external force to plates, strips, pipes and profiles by means of presses and dies, so that they are plastically deformed or separated, thus obtaining workpieces (die-castings) with required shapes and sizes. Die casting and forging belong to plastic processing (or pressure processing), which is called die casting. The blanks of hardware die casting are mainly hot-rolled and cold-rolled aluminum alloys and zinc alloys.
